Butterfly Cancer Ribbon Cookies

I had the honor last week to make Birthday Cookies for a Cancer Survivor.  The customer had requested cookies, and she told me the birthday girl loved butterflies and was a cancer survivor, and other then that...do what I wanted.

It took me all of 2 minutes to send her a email with a suggestion.  I have had this cutter for YEARS and have never had the opportunity to use it...she loved it...and I loved making them!

How perfect is this idea?  A Pink Cancer Awareness Ribbon with Butterfly Wings on the side?

The cookie design is from Tami Rena Cookies and the cutter is from Cristin's Cookies.

I am happy to report that my customer loved them, I hope the birthday girl did also.  I can not wait to make more of these in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month...we always have a bake sale at work, and I am sure that these will be a hit!
