Hi everyone!! I’m Tami, from Tami Renā’s Cookies. I can not tell you how thrilled I was when Kim contacted me about doing a guest post to help bring awareness to autism. I have admired Kim’s bog for many, many months and have fallen in love with what she does. I am also proud to call her my friend. Then there is Collin. The apple of her eye and the reason for “The Cookie Puzzle”. I absolutely ADORE him!!!! One of these days I would like to “hire” him to design a cookie for me. I have seen some of the designs he has done for Kim and feel that it is only fair that she share him ;)
- The Puzzle Piece: Which I discovered symbolizes the complexity and mystery of autism. Even though this disorder is not easy to understand, it is worth understanding. Just like a puzzle.
- The Ribbon Symbol: This jigsaw ribbon has bright colors of red, blue and yellow. It is used to spread awareness, letting everyone know that whoever is wearing the ribbon is someone who understands and is supporting the cause.
- The Butterfly Symbol: This is a symbol of Hope, Change and Transition.
I love what all three of these things stand for. How could I possibly not use one without using the other?
What an absolutely gorgeous cookie! Great job Tami!
